A few weeks ago my brother had an accident while he was longboarding with his friend. He was boarding down a hill and was crouching when he started to get speed-wobbles while he was crouched. He tried to stand up when he fell off his board and hit his head. He wasn't wearing a helmet, he was out cold for seven minutes. His friend called 911 and they were there a while later. When he got to the hospital it took six hours for him to see the doctor. When he did the doctor did see him he knew right away that his brain was bleeding. After the oporation and two days in hospital he came home for a long recovery. The estimation was 1 year untill he will be able to do anything high risk like skatboarding.
